Addressing’s Best Practices & Reducing Undeliverable Mail
February 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM EST
No two businesses are the same – different business needs around addresses. Within a business, not all mailings are the same. They have different priorities relative to goals, purposes, needs, fraud, restrictions, regulations and requirements. So it makes sense they may have different “Best Practices” when it comes to Address Quality. Best Practices mailers have undeliverable mail rates 50-65% lower than the industry average. And recent changes provided an opportunity to reduce their undeliverable mail by an additional 10+%. This translates to lower costs, faster bill payments, happier clients, increased sales and so much more.
In this session, Adam Collinson, Director of Address Intelligence, GrayHair Software LLC will focus on address-related issues that businesses are facing as well as the tools and data that can be utilized to make positive process changes. Adam analyzes and improves processes in all areas of mail including Data Entry, Address Quality and Return Mail, Database Management, Regulatory Compliance, Cash Flow Optimization, and Mail Tracking Analytics. In his position, Adam uses his experience and knowledge to analyze, research, design and implement new solutions to meet the needs of the ever-changing mailing industry. Adam also serves as the MTAC (Mailers Technical Advisory Committee) Industry Focus Leader for Data, Technology and Addressing.

U.S. Postal Service Honors Postal Customer Council Leaders’ Accomplishments
June 30, 2023
The U.S. Postal Service recognized Postal Customer Councils (PCCs) throughout the nation for their outstanding achievements and innovations in 2023. This year’s winners of the PCC Leadership Awards were announced during an event held at Postal Service Headquarters in Washington DC yesterday.
PCCs are a grassroots network that provides a local channel for USPS business mailers and the Postal Service to continue building upon their relationships so they can increase the use of mail and work on solving concerns and challenges together. These relationships provide a means to share best mailing and shipping practices, as well as give PCCs around the country opportunities to connect and learn from each other
PCC Leadership Awards are presented each year by the Postal Service in recognition of exemplary work to strengthen and grow the PCC network. More than 220 nominations were submitted this year.
Top honors were presented to PCC groups that achieved overall excellence in their efforts to serve their communities. The PCCs offered innovative solutions for challenges for businesses of all sizes.
